The Bacula Storage service are made up of software programs that execute the storage and recovery of the file attributes and data to the physical backup media and volumes. Essentially, the Storage daemon reads and writes to your storage target, for example tapes (or other storage object / media).
The Bacula Monitor service enables the administrator/user to view the current status of Bacula Directors, Bacula File Daemons and Bacula Storage Daemons. To execute a successful save and restore, these four daemons need to be configured and running: the Director daemon, the File daemon, the Storage daemon and the Catalog service (MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite.)
The Bacula Console service enables the administrator/user to communicate with the Bacula Director. The Bacula Console is currently available in three versions:

The first option and the easiest is to run the Console program in a shell window. The majority of system administrators will find this more than adequate.
QT-Based Interface

Incremental backups are all the files that have been changed since the previous backup, no matter the level. Most of the time incremental backups have shorter execution times and consume less physical and logical resources than the entire file sets which make up a full backup.
